JMB Ecological Offsets Announces the Acquisition of Brandy Branch Mitigation Bank

JMB Ecological Offsets is excited to announce the acquisition of Brandy Branch Mitigation Bank. Located in Nassau County and encompassing 763.21 acres, this freshwater wetland system is comprised of bottomland and upland forest, floodplain swamp, longleaf pine sandhill, and alluvial forest habitats. With this acquisition, JMB Ecological Offsets now has mitigation credits available to serve the Upper St. Marys River (SJRWMD 1) and Middle & Lower St. Marys (SJRWMD 2) Basin (HUC 03070204).

Brandy Branch Mitigation Bank

The Brandy Branch Mitigation Bank is a 763.21-acre freshwater wetland mitigation site located in Nassau County, Florida, and is located in both the Upper St. Marys River Basin and Middle & Lower St. Marys River Basins (HUC 03070204), under the jurisdiction of the St. Johns River Water Management District.

This bank is permitted by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), providing a compliant and approved mitigation option for projects requiring state and federal wetland offsets.
